During four weeks of training, 10 \u2013 15 selected students will explore the theme of passion, perfecting the characters and themes of the Italian Opera repertoire. During four weeks of intensive workshops, students will work on some of the most iconic roles of Italian Opera and will bring those character to life on the final show.<\/p>\n

  The school and the workshops will be hosted by the Italian Institute of Culture, located in Downtown Montreal (1200, avenue Dr. Penfield \u2013 Montr\u00e9al, Qu\u00e9bec, H3A 1A9). The training will take place from May 25 to June 19, from 9:30 to 16:30, and the final staging will take place Friday, June 19.<\/p>\n

  The Voice and Performance Program is dedicated to students of voice and acting.<\/p>\n

  It is worth 152 hours of intensive training in Italian language, culture and diction combined with workshops in voice, movement, improvisation, and interpretation.<\/p>\n

  Voice and Performance students will be granted a prominent role in the final show.<\/p>\n

  Given its than 152 hours of formation under the direction of some of the most influential experts in theatre, Opera and Italian language, the Voice and Performance program initial price is 3,000 CAD.<\/p>\n

  However, thanks to the contribution of the Italian Institute of Culture \u2013 Montreal, all selected participants will be awarded a 2,000 CAD scholarship. Therefore the Voice and Performance program final price is 1,000 CAD.<\/strong><\/p>\n

  Other scholarships might be available.<\/p>\n
